The paint on the frame is...(I hate to admit it)
Krylon Mystique™ Color2Color Aerosol (http://www.krylon.com/product/mystique.asp).
Since I was spending SO much money on parts to fix the bike, I found a web site (www.customflamepainting.com) which explains rather well how to paint your bike. Since I didn't have all the needed equipment, I used their advice and combined it with my lack of funds.
The Mystique paint is suppose to show a different color at almost every angle - I know I have seen this with some of the paints used on the custom choppers from OCC and Jesse James. I figured it was worth a shot to see if this would be able to handle the heat and conditions of a motorcycle.
From a 100 to 180 degree angle (estimated) it's a golden brown - from any other, it's purple (magenta according to Krylon). I was going to use it to do flames on the tank, thinking the flames would be different colors automatically. After testing it out, that wasn't true and it also did NOT work well with other paints. It caused a crackle effect so I didn't do much more testing with it (it may actually be worth it to test it again - the way it crackled might be a 'different' look worth investigating to see if it would look good on a bike).
